PREPARE THE STEAMER. Boil water and brush the steamer with oil.
Note: So the dumpling won’t stick on the steamer.
COMBINE ALL THE INGREDIENTS. You have an option to do it manually or put all the ingredients in a food processor apart from the siomai or wonton wrapper. Blitz until all the ingredients are thoroughly mix.
REST. Refrigerate the mixture for about 20-30 minutes.
ASSEMBLE. Spoon 1 tablespoon of mixture into each wrapper then seal nicely.
STEAM. Cook the dumplings for 15-20 minutes for larger pieces depending on the size you made.
CHILLI SAUCE. Mix all the ingredients together depending on your taste then serve it with the siomai.
